Jayda is the last of the 3 BigCharles children, born to former driver Jonathan BigCharles and Karen (Stott) BigCharles. Jayda is a 3rd generation driver and has a devoted chuckwagon family to follow. Jayda has a great support system to better her career as a junior driver with Papa Jack who builds and supplies the horses and Aunty Tracey (Chubby) and Aunty Lou, who are always involved and on hand to help. Jayda is the animal lover. She has a natural ability to draw animals to her and has little fear when working with animals. Watching her brother Karsen and her sister Savanah, Jayda became more and more impatient to take over the lines. She was finally given her opportunity in Rycroft in 2013.
