Rimbey Historical Museum
Visitors are welcomed for guided interpretive Museum tours throughout the 18 Museum buildings and on the 9-acre Museum grounds. Take a step back in time through our historical village and enjoy our world-famous International Truck collection. See a snapshot of the pioneer days of Rimbey with our extensive pioneer photo collection. Read up on the many literature works by local author Janette Oke and view all her awards for her life’s work. We are fully open Tuesdays through to Saturdays in the summer and partially open three days a week for the remainder of the year. We are also the accredited Visitor Information Centre for Rimbey. Our beautiful Park grounds are open to the public posted hours with a large open-air pavilion, picnic areas and a playground. We hold several special events throughout the year, all of which are posted on our Facebook page. The Rimbey Museum has much to offer, including a Gift Shop located in the Smithson International Truck Museum building. Our gift shop showcases and sells the work of local artists as well as Museum and area souvenirs.
