Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery

The Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG) combines the wonderful elements of a museum and art gallery to inspire a passion for history and art. We're committed to creating memorable experiences for visitors of all ages that reflect the rich and complex diversity of Red Deer and the surrounding area. Our rotating exhibit schedule presents a glimpse of Red Deer's historical and contemporary life and brings world-class exhibitions to our city. Public programming offers a variety of opportunities to explore your imagination. Come make art at MAG Saturdays, attend a Day Camp, sit in on a History in the PM talk, catch an independent film with Reel Movie Mondays or attend an exhibit opening. Remarkable Red Deer: Stories from the Heart of the Parkland highlights the people, places, and events that have shaped Red Deer's unique history.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 10:00am – 4:30pm

Wednesday & Friday – 10:00am – 8:00pm

Sunday – Closed

There is no admission fee to visit the museum. Donations are greatly appreciated.
