Canadian Professional Rodeo Hall of Fame

Canadian Rodeo Historical Association (CRHA) known as the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.

The idea for the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame was born around a table of rodeo alumni at the Canadian Finals Rodeo in 1979. What started as a simple proposal quickly gathered steam. After a few more meetings and a lot of heart, the Canadian Rodeo Historical Association was officially formed on June 19, 1980.

A year later, in 1981, the Government of Canada granted the association tax-free charitable status—cementing its role as the keeper of rodeo’s legacy in this country.

The CRHA was founded by dedicated rodeo enthusiasts to honor and distinguish outstanding contestants, animals and builders in the Canadian Rodeo Arena. Our hall and social media presence’s feature photos, biographies, and memorabilia of Canada's most outstanding professional cowboys, cowgirls and rodeo animals - the elite individuals of the sport of rodeo, who made their mark in Canada and throughout the world.

We induct qualifying individuals to the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and display artifacts of the History of Pro Rodeo Canada annually, so the Hall (museum of memorabilia is constantly growing and changing). In addition to that, we offer information sessions, and events featuring our inductees to further assist with educating the public about the sport of rodeo, the people and animals involved in it, its historical value to Canada.
