Small Museums. Strong Communities

Small museusm are more than places that preserve the past.

They are places where stories are shared, memories are preserved, people come together and communities connect with their history.

Coming Home: Small Museums and Building Communities brings together museum staff, volunteers, board members, heritage organizations and community partners to explore the practical realities of running a small museum today.

Together, we'll look at the ideas, practices and partnerships that can help small museums build capacity, strengthen their communities and create a lasting future.

Whether your museum has been part of its community for generations or you're just getting started, there is a place for you at Coming Home.
