St. Jacques Heritage House Museum
Our goal has always been to provide our community with its own museum, an interactive one in fact, where it was ok for us to touch at least some of the items on display. It needed to be accessible, a place where we could hold meetings and families could get help doing their family history research. And yes, we wanted somewhere to explore, promote and share our community’s French heritage. We wanted to honour our pioneers who chose this pretty hill to build on. Farming and taming this land brought many challenges they had to face, and valuable lessons we can learn from. Bienvenue, welcome to the St. Jacques Heritage House Museum.- Museum tours of an early French farmhouse
